Teachers need to be inspired by their teachers. This pose was knew to me and brought to me by my wonderful teacher Maxine Payne who I’ve been practicing with for 6 yrs. I hope to inspire some of my yogis to try. It doesn’t need to be perfect. #trysomwthingnew #yogaworkinprogress #yogaplaytime

I’ve heard it said that it’s a lonely profession being a yoga teacher as you need to keep a professional air / distance between you and your students. Luckily I’ve managed to smudge that line (if it exists) as my yogalates is more weighted towards Pilates 🤣.
These lovely girls come to my yogalates and we have become great friends chatting over coffees after class and on this occasion going out for a birthday outing. HBD Eileen.
I am lucky to have such lovely people coming to my classes 😘
And anyone is welcome to join our coffee sessions if you have time xx

Polestar Pilates, founded by a PhD in Physical Therapy in 1992, is renowned for its holistic approach focusing on whole body health, positive movement experiences, and the mind-body-spirit connection.
The Polestar mat repertoire will get the spine moving through all planes of movement in combination with the breath and work key areas of the body to build strength and increase mobility.

A lot of my students have told me that coming to my classes has helped them to develop strength especially after illness or injury, makes their bodies feel great and supports and prevents injury in other sports that they play. I am a yogi first and foremost but I have definitely seen changes in my own body from Pilates and the combination of the two is great.

When I arrived at the Prince Regent today one of the lovely members had left me a gift. Simple acts of gratitude and kindness touch us so deeply. Being a teacher I’m always so grateful to my students for showing up & bringing their beautiful energy to my classes, for allowing me to guide them and the the privilege of making a contribution towards their heath, happiness & wellbeing.
